History of Alpha International School (CBSE)

Alpha International, a premium CBSE school in Pondicherry, is a part of the Alpha Group of Institutions which has been 28 years in existence. The school is set on a huge green campus with scientifically designed learning facilities and state of the art sports and talent promoting infrastructure. With highly qualified mentors and an innovating pedagogy, the school is focused on providing a complete education to its students. The school follows CBSE Curriculum with equal emphasis on scholastic and co-scholastic learning. The school also conducts International tours to senior students with the schools tie up in France, Singapore, Holland, Norway, Finland and Australia.

The curriculum facilitates primary school children to develop to the best of their abilities and maximize socio-emotional and behavioral well-being. The Curriculum develops four key competencies: confidence, team skill, organization and perseverance among the students

Our Founding Trust

It began as a dream, fuelled by passion, faith and a deep will. Our dear founder Mr. Bashingam’s vision was to serve the society through education. Emboldened by the support of his family members, Mr. Bashingam took his passion further to set up the Alpha Educational and Charitable Trust in 1992.

This dream was further realized by Dr. Danathiyagou, son of Mr. V. Bashingam, when he became the Director of the Alpha group.

Dr. Danathiyagou aimed to transform an individual into a complete personality with character and ability through academic excellence.

This culminated into the journey of providing a well rounded education and an enriching experience for children at the Alpha International CBSE School.
